Why Join Us?

We hope that you will engage, involve and immerse yourself in one or more of our projects or special areas of interest. Hopefully you will find a part of it to which you feel connected, as the real purpose behind joining a group is to be part of it, not only join it. When individual members share their knowledge, the whole group is enriched. If you are a newcomer to the community, we are delighted to have you join us. If you have been here longer than you can remember, we welcome your knowledge and companionship. Everyone else is welcome too!

Haines like most small Alaskan towns, has a rich and colorful past. We share many of the same challenges that other towns in S.E. Alaska have faced, but the events and people that have made Haines and their accomplishments and endeavors are unique to our town. As time goes by, some of the best moments are forgotten. That is where we come in. What interests YOU about our local history? Please let us know as we continue to develop new Projects.
